Do I have to worry about it?

My CTR and CPM are 5x of my average today. Impressions is about 2x of average. I am thinking about to pull the ads or notify G about it. What is the right call? Thanks in advance.

No, don't worry about it. If you haven't done anything malicious then you should be happy. If someone else has done something malicious then you'll find out and Google will deal with it accordingly.

if i were you, i would write a quick email to google. if nothing else, you will have a record of being concerned with the spike in case google at any point has a problem with it

Could be a multitude of things. Advertisers may have placed more ads in the last day or so with different copy that people are starting click. I wouldn't worry. It also sounds like you've gained some in the SERPs if your impressions are up as well.

why don't you have a quick look at your logs to see if there's anything weird in the traffic pattern...

I had several situations like that (major CPM/CTR changes) in the past.
I've always emailed google about it and they always replied.
And I'm sure I've saved my ass at least once - Google found "fraud clicks" there, but due to the fact I've informed them about it, they did not take an action and even said thanks to me for helping them to protect advertisers...

Sometimes they don't reply. My experience is that if they recieve your email action is always taken...but your are not always notified of this action

For any easy to deal with requests I agree they are very good with customer response. However if you ever get into a sticky situation that involves the possibility of violation od TOS you may not recieve a written response but corrective action is always taken. Hopefully to your satisfaction :)
