This site has been running for a few months now and is already averaging 800 hits a day and growing (without advertising or promotion!)

Income is generated through sales and adsense. Many new registrations and subscriptions every day. Lots of regulars customers, always renewing subscriptions....this month sales total so far is $115.00

And adsense sales for this month total so far is $58

It is my script which I created from studying various scripts that do the same thing.

To be honest, I have used slight bits and pieces of various code and heavily added and modified with mine to make it work the way I want.

I have coded many features such as:

- reporting tools
- renewal alerts
- chat system
- multiple download server support
- scratch'n'win game

Newest customization I did was to support the new rapidshare authentication system.... not sure if any of the other scripts out there do that yet.

Server requirements are minimal. The site is currently running on a shared server with linux OS, php, and mysql.

Is this legal via rapidshares tos? How does it work? Does the site have a premium rapidshare account?

 

I haven't had any problems with rapidshare TOS. The site has been up since january and they have not said anything.

In they begining I had issues because of the different IPs connecting (they complained about that) , but then I modified my code and everything is good now.

In fact, when they changed the way the authentic users, the site was down. I was in contact with their support team and with their help I was able to adjust my code.

Furthermore, every time I purchase or renew an account with them.... the payment goes to them from . If it was an issue, I am positive they would had something by now.

Where is the traffic coming from, please show more in depth analytics.

Are the downloads directly streamed from Rapidshare or will it use server bandwidth?

 

No files are stored on the server.... everything is streamed. It does use bandwidth so I recommend a hosting plan with unlimited bandwidth.

There are many providers out there offering great unlimited packages at low rates.
