    To hell with cheapskates!
A warning to all those clients looking to get their articles written cheaply for $1 per 500 word article, the rates mentioned on this thread will certainly make your heartbeat go haywire. So please 'Ctrl+W' this window right away.

If I wanted peanuts as payment I'd entertain kids at the zoo as a monkey.

    Sigh.

Since the slave labourers have exited the building, we may proceed....

I am a 19 year old freelance writer, working in this field since the last 3 years (yes, since when I was 16). I have vast experience and diverse knowledge in almost all the necessary niches/subjects. In these 3 years, I have written 4000+ articles for my clients worldwide.

In the last 3 months itself, I have completed 500+ articles.

I have now written on almost all niches, be it traveling, health related, business niches, entertainment, technology, technical, marketing, SEO, etc. etc. The list is endless. Currently, my articles are on 300+ live sites. I actually lost count after 300, which was an year ago. :)

I have a a large clientèle, and mostly deal with all my clients through e-mail. I come to DP every few months to offer my services to new clients, and have an opportunity to serve more DP'ers. a

    Here is what I offer:

    Rates

    1 article (500 words) : $1 per 100 words. No concessions, don't even ask.

10 articles (500 words) : Still $1 per 100 words. Ditto ditto ditto.

    25 articles (500 words) : $0.95 per 100 words. Here's where you get a little leeway.

50 articles (500 words): $0.90 per 100 words. Better still.

    50+ articles....same rate.

Please don't come to me with some half baked argument that bulk work should entail higher discounts. Bulk just means more work for me. True, I have to spend less time finding work, which is why you got a discount in the first place.

Secondly, please don't ask me the price for 3, 7, 17 articles. Round off to nearest lower pay bracket and pay accordingly. For example, 3 articles will obviously be charged at $1/100 words and 17 articles will fall in the pay bracket for 10 articles, not 25.

I will also not accept promises for the future which go along the lines of "Here are 10 articles, I will give you 50 monthly." Sorry, I don't trust you. Give me 50 on the spot to avail of the discount. I'm not being pricey, I just got ripped off $75 two weeks ago from a guy who said he'd give me bulk work monthly, gave me a smaller first order, availed a decent discount and never replied again.

    Advance

I take a 50% advance for any work (For the first order, compulsory). If you're an honest buyer, you will have no problems with this.

I received my articles very quickly. However, what I wanted to emphasize on is the quality of the articles ~ they were excellent! From his work, you know that he has put in a lot of effort. Value for money!!! I will definitely be coming back to him for more articles when I need them.

Wow..Nice work, but you need to take a chill pill on your attitude about who you call "cheapskates". There is a recession out there and alot of folks are unemployed. It aint like the dot com bubble these days and folks dont have alot of money to spend.

Its great you are making a great living at this. Sounds like you have found your niche with the folks who are gainfully employed and arent looking at their budgets. My advice is to stick with the monetarily-blessed.:)

    Good Luck
