Just wondering if the main holiday period starting around now and continuing for a couple of weeks would constitute the lowest earnings of the year for adsense publishers.

I guess, people tend to stay away from the computer in the holiday IMO

I think the summer months generally (not for all sites i.e. those dealing with summer products should do well) are the worst month because of two factors, it being a holiday means a lot more people are off their computers and the sun/heat means people want to be out.

I think content sites will suffer and ecommerce sites will thrive.

On the other hand, teenagers and students have a lot more spare time on their hands over the summer vaction. So, depending on the profile of your visitors, you may actually do better this time of year. At least, that's what I'm hoping for.

IHMO I don't think so - checkout most ecommerce forums this time of year and most of the ones I visit have a several threads questioning a drop in sales and visitors.

Some niche markets may do better this time of year but most don't. Use this time to make the most of Sep - Dec. :D

Summer is always a low point for buisness for me. The thing to focus on now is building your sites up with content and new ideas.

Absolutely! Best way to go if traffic / earnings are slow.

I believe it is because of summer, and people are outside more often. I have seen a steady drop in traffic since May.

    You must be kidding.

280 clicks on gaming site in one day = 9 USD

Far away from ideal, I suppose:mad:
