I was made redundant a few weeks ago and I'm having to live on the dole (welfare) Currently we are going £400 per month further into debt as we can't meet the full rent etc.. and being selfish we decided to feed the kids before paying the rent in full. The Question is, can I still make money online, in the past its just been the odd tenner here and there from a few sites with adsense or CJ. Right now I need to hammer it and get some real money on the go. but I'm worried if I contact the dole or taxman & don't make enough money each month, I'll will lose the benifit after declaring and end up worse off than before. Is there a way I can do it for a few months before declaring so I can "dip my toe in" do Paypal inform the tax man or dole? and if so when? how much can I have going through the account before it's flagged? I know ebay might but If I'm accepting payments online via paypal via my own site? are there any other ways of accepting money that are as as accepted as paypal by users that don't inform? Right now what I would do is write articles for people and do the SEO thing in your part time as it can take months to get any money from it. If you need any help with SEO, let me know. Look at my signature to look at my article writing service and see if you can offer something similar. I could use some decent competition on here!
Firstly sorry to hear that you are out of work. I can't imagine paypal/ebay running to tell hmrc that you have signed up with them... The odd tenner here or their isn't going to keep the bailiffs away for very long. Think bigger than adsense and CJ...
