Getting googles first page is not a difficult one. Just search for less competitive but more searched keywords in google keyword search tool. There are many like this eg: 'hot male celebs'

The next thing to do is posting a url to digg.com with a heading and description containing these keywords. It's good if you use it in the same order as the phrase in google keyword search tool.

After doing this go for a cup of tea, engage with forums, call your girlfriend/boyfriend, have some fun with (your) kids, have a short sleep and get back to google. Then type your keyword. Your link will be in the very first page !

Good Luck. (If you succeed then make me your buddy in DP forum Okay) :)

Yeh I understand what you are saying. Using the web 2.0 sites is a massive advantage as they are from high page rank domains with authority.

So create a squidoo lens or a hub page and fire a few backlinks to them - TBH I think a few bookmarks would be enough. As long as your competitions no longer then say half a million you should find yourself ranking towards the top of google.

The more backlinks you will inject the site with the higher its gonna rise and trust me it rises alot faster then using your own domain

Everybody knows how to do this, and getting top is unrealistic if it is a profitable keyword.

Yes, this method is used by many webmaster. The problem is time spend on keyword study. That's no point to listed first for those keyword have no search volume.

    Codbox -- is that a fishy odor from a woman's privates :)

Anyway, I digress. We spend a lot of time optimizing for less competitive phrases and drive a lot highly qualified traffic from these phrases. It won't happen in 12 hours, but spending time on researching less competitive phrases is indeed a good idea.

Hmm, maybe it will really works on not competitive keyword. Getting optimized on SE takes time, as well as the content should be unique and original.

The keywords must be typed by users too if you want to appear on the first page.

It will work with all keywords but you should point out a phrase as keyword

Just do it with another keyword which is much more competitive

The main thing here is to find most searched keyword with less competition

It is a waste of time. I've spent weeks doing this method and most of the keywords get little to no traffic and then they drop off like a cliff. Real money is getting your site to stick on rank 1 for keywords that at least get consistant traffic. Find a couple keywords that get maybe 1,000-3,000 searches per month with no high pr pages ranked 1. You can make about 2-5$ per month from each one your rank good for. Combine that with 40-50 such sites and you are set.

I think it's not worth your time to do this. Ranking first in those non competitive keywords will not bring in any traffic. Of course this is just my own opinion and experience.

Using less competitive keywords you will get more desperate visitors and surely they will make a deal with you. In the thread i am telling you to find out not only the less competitive keyword but also one with more global search. Try using google's keyword search tool. It's free to use :)
