You probably did nothing wrong... They simply changed the way they are calculating PR. Perhaps they are ignoring links from other pages on your site or certain redirects... who knows.

Check your rankings and look at your traffic. If rankings and traffic remained the same then who cares what you're little green PR in the Google Toolbar says.

I am SEO for a PR7 commercial site which according to Yahoo! Site Explorer has 4,625,924 backlinks to our entire domain from external domains. Our home page remained a PR7. But all of our 1st level product pages dropped from PR6 to PR5. So I checked my rankings and none have changed, so I'm not going to worry about it.

When the update came out at the beginning of March, 5-6 of my 1st level pages went from PR6 to PR0. Then mid-March those same pages jumped to PR1. Then at the beginning of April they jumped back up to PR6. At no time during the month of March when our PR was really low did our rankings or traffic drop off.

It just goes to show how very little PR weighs into your keyword rankings.

DITTO what the last guy just said!

My site had no change to its SERP for all its KW. The PR fluctuates from 4- 3 - 4 - 3 over the last few months, but the SERPs remain the same!

thats true! SERPS will remain the same but the chances are that if you use your keywords in your site properly its easy to get yourself over the top.

lift your chin up guys! I know losing page rank sucks but there's a reason! Look hard at what your linking to, what's inking to you and take some time to ensure you follow the minimal of SEO guideline! SPEAK SEO
