i have heard about blackhat?
can anyone here in DP explained to me what's this?
It sounds so illegal?
Experts and non experts i need your precise explanation..

A quick explanation:

It is the unethical, under the table method of search engine marketing. In simpler terms, it is the wrong way of getting your website ranked higher on the search engine result pages. Examples of these methods are hidden text, link farms, keyword stuffing, etc.

 

^ Thats blackhat SEO specifically. Anything that is unethical but not necessary illegal is considered blackhat

 

it's something we should know but should not do.

 

Black hat is using tricky skills to rank high in SERP .
Black hat is cheating google bot and trying to manipulate the SERP .
Black hat is opposite way of white hat. lol

OK, someone show me the statute book where the law against keyword stuffing is defined, and punishments laid out.

That's right, you can't.

Why?

Because blackhat stuf is not illegal

It's not even unethical

it's simply against the wishes of the search engines.

After all, who are THEY to tell you what you can and can't put on your own website???

As to whether it works or not, here's a way to figure it out:-

If it is commonly regarded as 'stupid' (cloaking, doorway pages, markov etc) then iot doesn't work anymore - engines can trap it automatically.

if engines bleat on about it, that means they can't trap it automatically, which means it still works.

 

Black Hat is useless. If your link development strategy is good, you don't need Black Hat SEO, except if you want to be banned from SE.

It is not illegal, but Google hates it. If you get caught, you may lose more in the long term. Better stay far from this.

 

Blackhat is normally unethical but not illegal. Its a quick way to make lots of money. Its normally not longterm.

 

filling keywords in the page with same color font and page... hide the keyword, description by javascript , use tools for link building etc.. this are agianst SEO role and SEs do not like it.. Once SE bots cach it they will put the site in a side

 

But still this is simply blackhat Search Engine Optimization.

There is a whole world of blackhat.

Some make money from it, but it is rather difficult.

Not suggested for those who wish to have a long term income.

Would you rather sell items on ebay dropshipping and make $5,000 a month, or cookie stuff ebay through EPN and make $17,000 for one month and $54,000 the next, but get your ebay and EPN accounts banned and never see a penny of it?

Blackhat is all about risk-taking, and a lot of the time, it's not worth the risk to take.

BlackHat is for experienced people and its not only about search engines optimatization, it has way more tricks that do not containt any SERPS

Something like cheating. You make Google think you are something that in fact you are not.

It is basically any thing you do to fool their bots and score high in the search

 

Basically, unless you know FOR SURE what you are doing and what you are getting yourself into, don't even bother with blackhat. It is short term income because you will be caught blackhatting, almost all the time.

I don't understand how black hat SEO could ever be considered illegal - what law is one breaking if they trick their way to the top rankings of a search engine? I'd consider it unethical only if the person offered no value on their website to visitors.

 

Some methods are illegal. For techniques, though, you may want to look somewhere else.
