Where to register a Domain...

What site would I go to, and how exactly would I go about registering a new domain name. I looked up the domain itself, and it is available, I just don't know how to register domains.

Check out GoDaddy.com. It's a good site to register domains.

I would say godaddy. They have great service and everything you need.
A little tricky to get to the end of Cashier :)

I register all my domain names through NameCheap.

    http://NameCheap.com

    The process is very user-friendly.
There's NO Upsells to hurdle over.
You get Free WhoIs Guard Protection with every purchase.

I've never had a single problem with processing the
    Custom Name Servers.

My sites are usually up and running the same day I
    register the domain.

You need to chose domain name registrar. Make sure that you will have administrative contacts for your domain name after registration. That is very important.

    Good luck

I registered my first domain on Feb, 1996 when there was only NetSol, then Tucows, now my portfolio is spread between GoDaddy (+resellers), Moniker and NameCheap. My preferred is the last one I've listed, providing a sleek control panel interface, effective support and fair prices.
