I actually found myself sucked into it, reading the info. That must be a good thing. IMO I think the font should be different though, and mayby a justify alignment in various places to separate the "info" from the "explanation." It might help to make it more attractive and easier on the eyes. And also perhaps a block picture in the upper left at the start of your blog at the main copy, engaging and relevant to the content, will give it a better first-impression feel
Nice blog though it would be better if you could remove those lot of links in the footer area and the blog is taking some time to load
