Why is google not seeing my backlinks ?

i search google daily for checking my backlink

a month ago i saw it was 21

a week later i saw it was 14

and thereafter it was 7

and now it is 4

why is it so ??

I heard Google only displays those backlinks which it considers to be important.

 

It's much more accurate to check your backlinks using the Google Webmaster Tools than by doing a link: search:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

 

Google has deindexed your links.Google sometimes does it if the backlinks are not of good quality and relevant.

in the next Google update the backlinks may come back.

 

With this said, I am hoping shekhar.dashing can share what the stats are from his webmaster tools.

I haven't continuously monitored the backlinks for my sites though I do occasionally check the number. I'm getting positive increasing results but slowly.

I'll run a comparison between what I see from link:domain.com and Google Webmaster Tools.

ni it has not happened..i regularly check for backlinks.....lets leave..you tell me where are my DP's backlinks ?
