After getting bored with my proxys and closing them down, im looking into starting a games arcade. The question i have is are they any good at making money? i understand theres probably millions around the world. I've seen a few scripts which look good and may use it but the main question is that with the right advertising would it be a success and be making money? Thanks for your time
I have heard of people making SOME money on these. With 50-100 thousand games on the site or whatever it is not too hard to make maybe 100 a month with these sites. Check out the site for sale area and you will see some selling every now and then and they list what they make monthly which should give you a idea. You could always get them to making money and then flip them and start over again. You could make money doing that for sure.
Good for traffic, but really hard to make money with them, loads of kids without credit card and no motivation to click any ads. I'd personally stay away.
Yeah, game sites are a dime a dozen these days. Unless you have something original or out of this world, I wouldn't count on much money.
its only great if you have a niche, in relation to arcade games. Niches are the only ones that make money online.
games arcade is low pay niche in PPC but games niche can easily get traffic. However, affiliate programs is very good for games arcade site, it is good earning if you can get good sales
Yes one of the factor is the promotion part. But you don't ignore the other such as the content of your site,you need to update it with new game daily.
It really depends on how unique you can make you arcade site. There are so many of those sites out there.
The amount of work and money you'll spend on this idea isn't worth it because incomes is very small. You can make more money doing pretty much anything else with much less work.
With a site like this the traffic is good, you will not make much with adsense.... But there are other ways of making money on site like this, you just have to think out side the box! Just remember Adsense is a good program but it is not the only program!
