Why Blogger instead of Wordpress - Google?

I keep reading all over the internet that Wordpress is better than Blogger. Even the Pro's say Wordpress is better because of the special Plugins and versatility.

Now i have Blogger Blog, is it really worth it to change over to Wordpress, now that my links are established, should i start all over again.

My Blogger Blog does not have an URL, i'm more intersted in the content of the Blog than an URL, really. It's too late to buy an URL for this Blog.

Anyways would you start a new Wordpress Blog or just continue with Blogger without an URL?

Have more control with a wordpress blog on your own hosting and a domain name - do not use wordpress.com hosting.

Build up your own authority, reputation and credibility on YOUR site.

First of all get your own domain, make sure it's catchy, easy to remember and a TLD. Then get a reliable host, i've been hearing good things about hostgator. Then install Wordpress and your good to go, you can check out there website it has 5000+ plugin's and 800+ theme's.

Having your own domain and having full control by hosting your blog will end up being more beneficial than having your site as a subdomain and not having full control.

That's right. Even with a wordpress platform, you have it on paid hosting. That gives more freedom to operate.

Go with Wordpress man. There are tons of reason. Here's a good one.

    Auto Social Poster

With this monster tool, every time you publish a post the plugin will randomly choose a number of social bookmarking accounts you setup (maybe pick 40 out of 200) and bookmark the post as soon as it's created.

That's 40 bookmarks, 40 backlinks, and (most likely) fast indexing.

There's a host of other plugins that make it well worth you being able to do your own thing as you see fit on your own site.

    You better go with Wordpress.
There's so many reasons why you have to start blogging at Wordpress.
Best thing i love in Wordpress are the themes.

dont start all over again - you will lose the links. There are so many blogger blogs ranking in the FIRST POSITION.So its not that you cant rank for keywords.Dont lose the links. They are more important than the plugins and others.Think twice before doing these things. But if you were to start another new blog then you should start in wordpress.cheers :D

Google own Blogger, what ever you blog about just ping goolge then you will get indexed, 1 good thing Blogger has it indexed faster. Did a lot of test and my record is indexed within 2 minutes. Using Blogger will have the higher chance of getting high SERPs. But Bots will return to check your content, you will be filtered or remove if you are using dup content or blocked your blogger account

    Wordpress (hosted by wordress)
Its free, its cool, its nice to redesign your content and layout depending on your topic. 2 things, if you don't submit your articles to social bookmarking, you will never get indexed in 2 months time

    Wordpress (self-hosted, you own hosting)
This is what i called, DIY blog. from layout to design, from link building to Social bookmarkings. Google will not indexed your site like blogger because blogger is trusted site and they own it so the only thing they need to check is blogger's content while google will need to check self-hosted wordpress's IP, registrar, and etc. The only best thing why i love self-hosted blog, if you catch a great niche surely you earn more than i do

Wordpress on your own domain gives so many posibilities that it wins hands down. However, how about having a blogger version with a much more cut down version of the same content pointing to your wordpress version on your own domain?

Two bites of the cherry, without duplicate content (if you aren't lazy!)

I think Wordpress is the best blog platform. There are a lot of plugin and you can control everything (even ads!).

The big Wordpress Communauty helps you if you have questions or problems.

if its well established and bringing in an income i dont think you should start again. You could create a new wordpress blog and continue to work on the blogger blog.

It's never too late mate, you should consider hosting your blog on your own domain instep to look professional and build more trust and authority including branding the domain..

However, you could move your current website content from Blogger to WordPress and redirect the old URL's to the New Ones using .htaccess L301 Redirection and the links value will pass through to the new domain ;)
