We dont want a recount. a recount will be a cheat again. We want re-election.

In the minds of Iranians there is not a single doubt that this was rigged.

All I gotta say is that the Iranian people have guts. For them to stand up to this government by themselves is amazing. My prayers go out to every Iranian today. May god protect them.

    plus look at this
"The recent rallies destroyed 700 buildings, burst 300 banks into flame, damaged 300 cars and 300 public properties," - Police Chief Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan
so hmm.... what do the police do after all that disobedience... the upset irani's need to learn to deal with it in a correct way not by rioting.

Most of the damages are not done by people. They were done by their own civillian dressed people to allow the riot police start killing innocent people...

when a government cheats in an election in such huge dimensions and denies any wrong doing, they are determined to stay in power at any cost. Any cost!

Interesting Nima, and I wouldnt put it past their government to do this, but if there is anything they should learn from history is that The iranian people are not gonna be scared off by these tactics. If anything, they will get even more ticked off and it could get to the point where the iranian army will start to shift their sympathies towards their countrymen who are starting to get killed out there, and the sad part is their deaths are ocuring now because of our meddling in iran in 1953:(

Nima good luck and all the best from from Israel.
I really hope to see Iran join the world and put the men who wear dresses and their clown the ignorant achmedingjad in prison!
The Iranian nation has lots of human and natural treasures, and deserves much more than being one of the poorest countries on earth

The Iranian Army is in large part made up of conscripts. I don't believe that the Iranian Army could stand up to the 165,000 man Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard is a parallel Army equivalient to the Waffen SS in Germany during WW2.

There is also a 1 million man Basij militia in Iran that is part of the crackdown. They are basically street thugs that dress in street clothes and attack the protestors. The other night Basij members attacked student dorms at Tehran Yniversity and many students were stabbed to death. The next day the students attacked a Basij militia building and attempted to burn it.

I read that everyone that uses Twitter should go under settings and change their time zone to show GMT+03:30 Tehran. Iranian security forces are trying to track down people in Iran that blog or Twitter I guess? Anyway, so if you Twitter change your time zone to Iran show support, and I guess Tweeters in Iran should change their time zone to some other country? Wish you well, Nima.

the videos could have been easily manipulated or created and i wouldn't put it past expectations if they are.
From what i know its not as bad as it seams but america (in which i reside) is trying to fuel the fire... and you can't ignore the elephant in the room... Israel.
And again how many protesters are there compared to how many people there are in the population or those who have voted?
the ratio is really insignificant, but human life is sacred and i do not condone any violence.

I am pretty sure you are right and all the protectors are just Israelis plants. Those damn Jews, why are they messing with Iran. The Iranian people were perfectly happy with their government and the election.

The rumor im hearing on the lebanese forces forum is that the iranian government has called on 5000 hezbolla fighters to quell the student protest because teh iranian army wont shoot at their countrymen. Its just a rumor, but if its true and there is a coup in iran, this could backfire against hezbolla.

This also just in on yahoo news

Iran says 13 people killed in violent clashes :(

This iranian message board states tanks are now in Tehran. So many different accounts, but this thing could get really bloody out there. Plus the state is hunting down bloggers?

the number of death is well into 100, 200 my friend.

From people who are in hospitals, we hear the death toll is much much higher than what is being announced
