Get more google traffic and earnings fast by geo targeting your website

If you want to get more targeted visitors and increase your earnings than you must geographically target your website with google webmasters tools.

To do that, follow this easy steps:
1. Sign in your google webmasters account
2. Go to Site Configuration/Settings
3. Check the "Geographic target" box and select the country from which you want to receive more visitors
4. Click on Save

Now whenever a person from your targeted country will do a search on google with your websites keyword, your result will be displayed higher in thats person google search result and you'll get more targeted visitors, and by this more earnings.

 

That's very interesting, and something I didn't know about. Have you found this method to work for you? Do you get more visitors and that are within your geographic range?

 

is nothing really new. you can place an country line into your meta tags then if you sign up to google webmaster account, google automatically has assigned your site to that country

 

It would be pointless for my site as I'm targeting a global audience anyway. I would just lose out on potential prospects and customers.

 

Yes, I do. I have targeted my website to UK and I am getting like ~30% more visitors from UK, from google.

 

Does it limit your traffic to just your targeted geographical area, or do you still get traffic from other areas as well?

It does not limit your traffic to your targeted geographical area. You will also receive traffic from other geographical area but you will receive more from the targeted one.

Yes, this is true, but with google webmasters tool this is much easier.

Another question, when you configure your settings to a specific region, does it block out traffic coming from other countries?
