Mission $2000k a month - from zero to hero, or epic fail :p

i have been working online ( offline to dp) since last few months learning all that i can about internet marketing, and rest.


so i finally start on 1st of june.

1 - my purpose is to make a income that is not dependent on me working and
2 - which anyone can replicate ( everyone can do it without need of some special skills)

i am going to post everything that i have done, what worked and what didn't and what money did i made. on hopefully a daily basis.


if you want to replicate what i have done, please let me know in pm's and i'll help you in replicating that.

maximum expense that i am going to do is - hosting and domain - nothing else. usually 5-10 $ a month and domains are free to 7.49 a year.



on day 1 - made 1 site, total expense 7.49 + hosting - 4.95
used the 25$ advertising coupon given to me.
and now spending 2$ a day on advertising ( via adwords)

day 3- yay - getting approx 70 users daily. added adsense today

day 4- getting approx 1-2 clicks daily, and it seems clicks are worth approx 30 c each

day 6 - added one more script to the site, now getting approx 100 users daily.

day - 7 pageviews seem to have increased , now i am getting some repeat traffic.

day 10 - adwords coupon finished

day 11- started two more ways of free advertising, now getting approx 300 visitors a day, one of them is yahoo answers.

day 15- adsense revenue so far, 39.43

day - 18 decided to post in dp about this details. and see if someone gets help looking at what i have done and what i have lost or gained from it..

Nice at least you made your money back and then some!

Don't just rely on adsense though for monetisation. You are/were paying for clicks from google. You probably spent more money on adwords than you made back with just adsense. It is ok to use adsense when using free traffic techniques but not when it's paid traffic.

Nice job with Yahoo! answers. I always seem to get banned even when I give good answers. Any tips on how to use it to drive traffic?

 

i know i did spend more money on adwords than i earned, but that was a free voucher.
the new traffic sources i am working on are all free, and best thing is they bring recurring traffic.
i know, and i will be adding some more revenue models as they visitors grow.

since any business model is bound to fail if you dont' have users..

so i'll add new revenue models as i start to get 1000+ users online daily.

as for yahoo answers, there are some new tricks that need to be followed now, since yahoo changed it's anti spam filters on may 24.

as for me i am a bit too experienced in yahoo answers so i get my answers to not only stick but being chosen as a best answer as well. and it seems google consistently puts yahoo answers on first rating.

 

Should be an interesting journey. I look forward to seeing how you continue to go. Take heart as it is often slow at first but I am starting to see good results with my sites and my adsense earnings are increasing each month.

 

i tried something new. ( i hope daily) visitors today has shot upto 3257 at the time of writing.
i am adding a new ppm network now.
added a new script.

adsense revenue stands at 61$

I haven't even made that much with adsense in almost 4 months, I'm doin somethin wrong.

 

Wow. Your progress sure is fast! I wish I could earn that much in just two weeks. I think I can but my procedure seems to take more time to execute

first i meant 2000 $ a month, not 2000,000 a month,

second i meant online income, i never said it has to be from adsense only. there are literally hundreds of means of making money other than adsense. i used it because it is the easiest one to implement in starting.

third - whatever i am trying to do, i am trying to make sure it is repeatable, that is no special skills should be required for it.

fourth, don't ask for the site, it's a faily simple site, but some low lifes in the world, simply believe in copy pasting, which is going to be more problem than it's worth.

fifth, i am trying to make money, and implement what i have learnt here, since i see so many people who know it all, but never actually implement it.

sixth, if someone actually needs help in replicating the earnings, all you have to do it shoot me a pm, i'll make one for you. NO charges, NO money, nothing, you will need hosting and a domain only ( don't buy yet if you don't have it till now)

seventh and the most important one, stop thinking , start doing, jouney of a thousand miles started with a single step.

you should contribute to the work instead of quoting out of context and trying to look funny.
