It really looks very minimalistic and resembles a back-office for ERP system or an admin panel, rather then a forum for romance, feelings and emotions. Add some graphics and adjust color schema to make it softer and more elegant.
needs more work try to add some images and try to experimenting with 'softer' colors try to get better icons than the black boxes good choice of a domain name your main site looks nice...try to customize the forums with the same theme as the main site
Odd how you're here posting your links in a forum. Then, if someone would post a link in your forum: Bam! Shut down for spamming! I have yet to find a dating forum that allows links or links in signatures. I spent months on a few popular dating forums, reading everything and posting dozens and dozens of really good responses. Then, after a few months of meaningful contributions, I tried adding one link on my signature. I got kicked out instantly. This happend on all four. In fact, it's happend on over 10 dating forums I've joined in the last year. Then those same webmasters come here and post links to their forums. Hmmmm.
I agree with domainscorer, it looks too simple. You could add more pictures/photos to make your websites more romantic
I've never been kicked, I just never joined. Disallowing sigs on any forum is ridiculous. I totally agree with you. Mates 101 will allow sigs but there will be plenty of eyeballs watching for spam
Cool site. You will need a lot of traffic to make it worth wild for a user to return. You should also have moderaters to answer some questions. An unanswered question is a horrible crime.
