Keyword / SEO Recommendations?

I'm looking to revamp my SEO for "more targeted" keywords for my site

First of all, what do you think of the current keywords / description (meta tags) / content and how could it be improved?

I'd set your homepage title to 'Make Money Taking Surveys - Dollar Hauler' . 'Make Money Taking Surveys' gets 6,000 searches per month according to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and with a PR 2 domain like you have you could rank for it if you got some backlinks with the anchortext 'make money taking surveys'. It would be a lot easier than ranking for 'make money' like your homepage is trying to do. Also put that keyword in your meta tags. Overall pretty nice site though.

 

Thanks for those quick-tips. Do you think I should I dump the "Get Paid To Do Surveys" in the title bar as well?

btw the PR 2 came after some updates I put up that should be good for another point hopefully. Time to build backlinks I guess..?

 

Good points. Often many of us (me too) will seek out an extremely competitive niche, simply cause we can, but then once in the game we find the efforts are often not worth the reward. If you can OWN a less competitive keyword/keyphrase, you'll be money ahead in the long run.
