I noticed the information below on the Signature & Live Link Guidelines page. At what reputation level do you lose these privileges? Also, if a member loses their signature and live links privileges is it acceptable for that member to manually include text and live links in their post to make it look like a signature?
No, it's not that. Today I noticed a member who's reputation box was "Red". I was thinking if your reputation was low enough to get a red box it might be low enough to lose the privilege. I guess not because this member still had a signature. It's not a big deal, I was just curious.
Well, I'd imagine it is automatic using a cron job (scheduled task) within vbulletin that says when user is < x rep remove live links in signature. Or at least something to that effect. The job doesn't run instantly, could take an hour, a few hours, or just minutes. Depends on how Shawn has set up the job. vbulletin actually allows more than one "block" of reputation (you can have multiple green or red blocks). So just being red might not necessarily knock someone down to not have live links in their sig.
