JOB Vs Selfemployment: what is your choise?

This is for all the people who are earning through DP or the Internet..

There are always two ways a person can earn in life..

ONE: He works under somebody who hires his skill set, i.e. a Job
and
TWO: He works for himself and tries finding work here and there.. Freelancing

So now that most of us are earning money through the internet and all, what do you think:

and are we all here only because we dont have a job or is it our choice.

Job or Self Employment?

 

I prefer self employment simply because it offers me flexible working hours and gives me the freedom to chose my own working field and the ways to go about it.
I anyway have a mindset which can not work as per the dictated orders.

Self employed, although its unsecure, you have everything in your hands..

Never had a job doing freelancing since 2004 so my choice is clear
I wonder if it is somebody who wishes yo have a job and be a slave ?

 

Of course everybody likes to work with the flexible timing…………..even me too, but unfortunately right now I am working in a company…..and bit scared that if would leave this job…….will it be possible for me to get work to run my pocket.

I prefer working for someone else to be honest. I enjoy the social side of my job and would hate to work at home and have no one to talk to all day.

Plus you sort of have a guarantee that you will be paid on time every month than working for yourself and see your business suddenly go tits up.

 

Self employed=freedom and ENDLESS OPPURTUNITIES!

 

I too wanna to start my own business as it gives a lot of freedom to take your own decision and explore new opportunities.

well I prefer to get a job for security reasons. I can start my own business afterward.

This question always haunts me....I am earning good from internet from the services i run and also am persuating engg.My destiny was to become a software professional but now i am already feeling like self employed.
I am really confused between the two.Not going to job after engg will be a pain and all efforts i put through in 4 years of studying will be in vain,At the same time i feel self employement is better since i am my own boss with no hectic schedule,s or following orders of my boss.
But my heart always says self employement since i enjoy doing work there.

 

Good Question! I also started as my own boss but few months i joined a professional company after joining my way of working & thinking improved a lot.
