site loading speed, can u help?

    Hi guyz, does my site load slow? can u please tell me ur connection, browser and if site rendering was

    fast.
    moderate.
    slow.

    any comments on optimizing?

    I'm guessing sandrophoto.com is your website?

    It loads quite fast for me with a ping averaging of 146ms which is my usual ping to a site hosted in America. 8Mbps connection using IE8 ;)

    but it's a photo blog, cannot make photos smaller and crappy... it's better if I try to optimize code...

    u can compress certain areas of a jpeg to the max (backgrounds) and leave foreground items sharp.

    I can do this for you per image. You will be saving 100's of kb that way instead of a few kb in code.

    loads pretty slow. Try using gzip to compress some of the images, css... Optimize your scripts as well since it sucks up about 1/8 of the load time. Good luck =)

    I just pulled it up using IE8 as well. It loaded pretty quick, I see no issues with loading the page.
