Google is much faster/better then Bing.

I don't know why Microsoft maked Bing, Live Search didn't work at all.

    Hello...

Ive actually found info on bing that i couldnt find as easy on google using lesser clicks

Bing is LIVE with a twist and the results arent that far of and some are actually better.
(dont get your feathers ruffled Google worshipers as ill use both)

Google does not seem to be too worried about Bing and neither am I. Bing definately uped their game but only going off the back of Google have already done. The TV adverts are interesting, obviously an attempt to try and pull the population onto the search engine. I predict a big spike in traffic but Google then prevailing as the better search engine. Having used both myself, (and using Bing solely for a week) I have now made my decesion.....Big G wins again!:D

It is strange to see that I get a lot of new visitors through bing these days while the visitors from google remained static. More and more people prefer bing over google?

I've read some article that microsoft changed their software development methods and now invests pounds of resources for the web applications development. But ... Microsoft started too late, there are lots of free GPL licensed linux softwares and web applications developed that Microsoft have no choice only to buy them all.
My opinion -- in 3 or 4 years we will not see Microsoft around, it will just die. Unix based systems will be prevalent. And more much cheaper linux distributions will kill Microsoft forever.

try blindsearch for comparison. Search for something and it'll return three sets of results. Click on the results that you think are the most accurate and it will reveal if the results are from Google, bing or Yahoo. I did 8 searches on different key phrases that I monitor and found that it was a 50/50 split between bing and Google for best results. Yahoo was consistently the worst

People who helped build Google early on are the ones who are working on and implementing Bing. Give it time and in 2-3 years from now, you will see Bing give the Big "G" a good run for its multi-mega money.

Watch Bing, and know it. Get used to it because it is not going anywhere.

Right Now "G" is at the top of the food chain in the search engine industry... However, that will change. It will not happen overnight, even with a monster such as Microsoft backing Bing, but it will happen.

Google is getting too greedy with the advertisers (adwords) and too many people competing. Bing will lower Google's customer base, but over time.
