Top Ten Deadliest Questions at DP and the Answers.

Here, I just tried to mention Top Ten Problems which are faced by the DP members and their solutions.

1. I can not login. I have to login again and again.
use the option 'remember me' while login and you will login in one stroke only.

2. What is iTrader?
iTraders are given by one member to another, while dealing in BST. You can see others iTraders either by visiting the profiles or in the BST section. You can give positive or negative iTrader acc. to your experience with the seller/buyer.

3. I am not able to delete a message. I have read it but is still showin unread.
It is due to database issue. Soon, you will get rid of it. It will take sometime.

4. What is rep? Why I am having only one blog and others are having many.
Rep shows the quality of your posts and threads at DP. You can give rep to other person by clicking on the button just right to the title of your thread. You will be given green rep, if someone like your post. The number of points in rep depends, by which member it was given to you. Rep received from a member having higher rep contains more points.

5. Why my thread was closed in BST?
Someone might have reported your thread, or you might be doing something illegal like selling contents for which you do not have any rights, doing frauds etc. If you have started a thread in the wrong category even then the thread will be closed and you will get an infraction.

6. What is infraction?
Infraction is a kind of penalty you receive when you break the rules. You can get an infraction from 1-10 points. When you collect 10 points of infractions you will get banned. If you violate the rules faster and continuously then you can get ban earlier by giving intense 10 points infraction at a single time.

7. How can I close my thread?
No, You can not close your thread, you can report it using a button on the right side of the title of your thread. Only Moderators can close it.

8. What is thread hijacking?
When someone starts posting something in your thread which is not related in any manner with the topic then it is called thread hijacking. Again, you can report that post to the moderators by telling them in detail.

9. Someone has given me negative iTrader, without dealing with me?
You can report that iTrader as well as the member who did that? You can not remove the iTraders.

10. I am not able to link my signature to a website, I am not allowed, why?
There are few conditions, before you start hyperlinking either in signatures or in the posts, Check this problem in FAQs.

Wow! This is a wonderful thread. I think that this is the summary of the problems and the solutions at DP.

I think that it should be a sticky one, so that people do not harass mods and can get answers of their questions from here. Still you have missed few ones, that can be inserted.
But, still a good job.

10 posts and he is a hero. Gee, I guess some have it and some don't. Seriously, if this person can come on here and in a few minutes figure it out... Then whats wrong with the rest of the people around here? Isn't this information posted all over DP already? I agree, he encapsulated it well, maybe they should give him some sort of trophy or something.

Those are the people that you just can't help. They are running a PII with Windows 95 on IE 4 and 32 megs of ram. They do exist, I swear!
