    I have a feeling you need to be a US resident to register a .US domain in the first place, not 100% certain though so don't quote me...

    I think the general concensus is that, strictly speaking, you're not supposed to use .US domains if you're outside the US but that there's very little chance anyone will stop you from doing so. The wording of the 'presence in the United States' bit in particular seems quite vague - if you have a website that's used by people in the US, does that count as a US presence?

    You must be present in US as individual or company.
    Some registrants do not check the requirement before registering .us but you can easily lose the ownership after a check
