Not all weights are the same and not every reference to weight is made with respect to the size of human body! If not for anything else, I am surprised OP did not give it a thought of why a section 'Weight Questions' is existing under 'Co-op Advertising Network' on a webmasters forum! I do not expect everybody to know everything, but he should have realized that there is something amiss here, by just a cursory glance at the place.... Regards, RightMan
To lose weight you need to understand a few things. First of all the most important aspect to any weight loss regime is to raise your basal metabolic rate (the rate at which your body burns calories even when you are not moving). To do this you must start sleeping early at night (10pm or before). If you stay awake to late at night your basal metabolic rate starts slowing down. Next your should eat a BIG breakfast , and there are a few reasons for this. One is your metabolism is fastest between 7am and 1030am so take advantage of this by eating a huge meal because your body will be able to burn it off more efficiently then if you ate it at midnight. You also know that you have the whole day to burn this weight off. ext you should eat lots of roughage like fiber and cellulose. Fruits for fiber and veggies for cellulose. This roughage fills your stomach up and doesnt have many calories and this is mainly because we dont have the bacteria that can fully digest these parts down (as cows do). Exercise is another 2 punch combo because it helps burn off alot of calories as well as speeding up your basal metabolic rate. 3 times a week is good for starts. Make sure you limit your fat intake to 20% and also be sure to watch your intake of complex carbohydrates. Make sure you are eating enough calories in your diet because if you dont then your body can go into starvation mode. The human body does this mainly as a mechanism of survival which has evolved within humans for tens of thousands of year or more. When your in starvation mode and you arent eating enough, your body will do 1 of 2 things. It will first start to conserve your stores of body fat and actually try to break down your muscles and bone first so your actually losing essential fat burning muscle. The next thing that happens is that your body will lower your basal metabolic rate so that you dont lose calories that easily. Your body does this because it thinks your life is in danger and will do what is necessary to keep you alive as long as it can. I know this stuff well because I was a nutrition major in college before my illness messed up my short term memory. Hope this helps
