It's nice. Much better than others :)
To me, the only confusing thing is the way you made the about page. Since the about page is about you, maybe you should make it somehow different from the network sites.
Other than that, everything (although there isn't much content) looks okay.

    Good luck with you work!

Domain is solid - 3 letters / numbers are pretty hard to find these days.

Overall it's pretty solid. The only thing I'd consider changing is the font for the "Home", "Network", and "About" links. That doesn't match the layout at all.

    Cheers Nathan for your review.

I specifically chose those fonts to make them stand out as the default font looked to plain imo.

Thanks though I will take it on board. Rep added

It looks great, I like it. I just think there are one too many Vs: Under "Featured Site", again under "About", and again pointing to your portfolio thumbnails... all of those in addition to the comment V under the featured site thumbnail make for too many acute angles in my immediate field of vision. It is a bit confusing, IMO.

Ah I see what you mean now. Thank you for taking the time for explaining and taking those screenshots.

Now I get your point, maybe there are too many, however I never noticed until just now. I see your quite the designer so I'll take your advice and work on this.

    Thank you

Thanks! Of course bear in mind this is only my own aesthetic bias, I wonder if anyone else has a visual problem with the Vs?

Maybe they just remind me too much of Drupal's Garland theme, they get a lot of play there.

    Nice portfolio btw =)

I kinda like the logo but thats about it.

The site has one page with 3 links in the main menu pointing to it, why? You'd be much better to make it into 3 pages if for nothing else than having more pages to index into search engines (it would also give you a better space to display the sites in a good way).

The main menu is on the right hand side which is just bad practice.

"F27 Portfolio | Network of sites" underlines when you hover over it, why? It doesn't link to anywhere and is just misleading (because it underlines on hover I expected it to be a link - i'm sure many others would feel the same way).

"Al Rights Reserved" should be All Rights Reserved. It's good practice to use a spell checker.

Then theres the portfolio images which have no hover state set. There is no real indication that they are clickable apart from the pointer changing to a hand on hover. You'd be better to create a nice hover effect for them.

Also if your wanting to brag that its valid HTML/CSS then put a link to say so on the site. Even if it's just in the footer (where it says "all rights reserved..."). Plus its transitional, so it's not that much to brag about.

Anyway, I really can't see why the people before me had pretty much nothing negative to say about it. It isn't amazing, but I have to say that it's not that bad, i'd give it about 5/10.

I would like to see a way where I can click one of the thumbs to bring it into focus rather than going page-to-page, which is just redundant because the only change is the middle portion. It become cumbersome to scroll down, click and pop back up top and then scroll down and rinse/repeat.

While Flash could do this, I believe jQuery could provide a way to achieve this, which would make the page more usable.

If that's not possible, the page could be reworked (bigger thumbs on top, on side, etc).

And yet another idea: custom each page to the site it's showing (coloring for example).

Perhaps, I'm going way too far with this. :D

At the very least, the side blue w/white text is a bit much (both are too bright, so they merge somewhat to the eye). Perhaps tone down the blue some.

    Good luck with it.

You've give me something to work with now.

@ twistedspikes I will make these corrections and take on your advice when I re-design it.

@ marketjunction: Your ideas are great and not far at all, I will definitley use them.

Nice but maybe you should only use two colors I mean the second blue its a little too much. Use gray, just my opinion.

Look good, but you spelled "All" incorrectly at the bottom.
