Hi, I've been researching online and noticing a lot of websites calling themselves a CPA (Cost Per Action) network. Are CPA network sites the same as Affiliate network sites? After reading what these CPA networks are and do; it sounds to me like they are just an Affiliate network site, but I'm curious why the change to "CPA networks" now? Thank you, olimits7
You're right, the terms are often used interchangeably. Some affiliate networks though are primarily CPS offers, so "CPA network" is not as fitting.
olimits7 both are termed CPA which stands for cost per action. I tend to separate the CPA networks (cash per action) with the Affiliate networks which are more robust. The CPA networks are offer networks, lead gen, single products, quick payout, turn and burn. The Affiliate Networks are long term relationships product based and some lead gen. The payouts generally take 30-60 days. They have datafeeds, many tools, more restrictive (trademarks).
