Bing is owned by Microsoft. And just like Yahoo, it has different data centers. Results vary depending on location.

No, Bing will not fail. This one is very good.

To have a better look use the usa version in english. All the local versions are just the BETA without many features.
The USA version in english is full.

That will cause a problem for advertisers.

I remember when our town had one yellow pages. Then 2 or 3 companies started yellow pages too.

People with several books can only grab one.

That means advertisers may have to advertise in two or more books, doubling their expense.

If you run Google adsense, and half the people don't search with Google, you loose Adsense income. Or have to deal with the hassle of stuffing Microsoft ads on your pages.

    Hence, more work.

Im not trying to be rude but wouldn't an instant answer by pushing the search button be better than to post a thread here and waiting for someone to reply (if anyone replies at all) ?

Seriously, if you google 'bing' or better yet search on bing since your already there :p you would of found out that its Microsoft replacement for Live.

bing is like a MSN or Live.com.

Well Microsft owns it of course, but bing has the potential with some of the features to really make a big move in the search engine wars. They will never reign over Google, but they are taking leaps over Yahoo and others.
