I have 3 links going to http://www.turboaddict.com/ and all of my other 131 links going to http://turboaddict.com/. How can I set it up so search engines wont think I have duplicate content? I tried making a 301 redirect from the www to the non-www, but it says it makes a loop. However, when I try to make a 301 redirect from the non-www to the www, it works??? Why doesn't the www redirect work going to the non-www? My site has always been non-www, but after someone mentioned it to me that people can link to both and it's different, I noticed that there were some links going to each... I would like to keep the non-www, but I want links from the www to work towards my site.... What should I do???
This should explain more. I've used this on my website before I switched to WordPress. Simple to do, post screenshots of your problem if you can't get it to work.
I run wordpress... if someone types in www.turboaddict.com, it goes to my page. will the links going to www.turboaddict.com still count towards my site if my site is actually turboaddict.com? or will it create a second page that is www.turboaddict.com?
Since it's a wordpress blog a redirect is already in place. It should be fine as it is. Your links to www version still count because of a 301 redirect that wordpress uses.
