    Hello Guys,

I have to make a site for my family business and i need your help.
The site is pretty simple. All i need in the site is that people can register at my site and after registering they can make a post that is only visible to me and not others that register. Every time a person logs in he can view his post or add a new one. This is all i need. So can you all help me as to how i should go about this. Is there a script available or i have to custom code it. I have no knowledge of php, just basic html knowledge. The site has to be for a competition. They have to post their entries. And therefore no other members can be able to view the entries.

So i am hoping someone will help me about this.

    Thanking you

Most cms would be able to do this - joomla, drupal, yoops - they all have modules so that a visitor can register and make a contribution, but it not be published unless a moderator permits it.

I'm wondering why you don't just run this via e-mail because it would be simpler... BUT If you do insist on having them self-post to a site, why not just use WordPress and set the user levels yourself? Seems that'd be the easiest/fastest solution :)

Hope this helps, sounds like a fun way to hold a contest!

Agreed with Wordpress suggestion. I have all my sites (1. make money online free hints, 2 doctorul si terapeutul naturist and 3. autovindecare - see below) hosted with a Wordpress solution, majority of them for free (exception is the first which is not free, but hosted using the wordpress kit from the hosting provider).

I would also recommend wordpress for this though the easiest way is to capture e-mail addresses. Then you could also create a series of follow up emails etc.
