What happen about MSN

    I have a site that relate to soccer betting, if I use 'soccer bet' search on MSN, my site ranked 3rd, but no traffic is from MSN - according to my counter. Any comment ?

    That's not true. It does bring you traffic only if your keyword is actually searched :)

    'soccer bet' is only searched for 400 times a month on MSN. Thats hardly any.

    according to overture inventory the pphrase soccer bet was searched about 3600 times last month, which is not that high

    however this includes plurlars. So im my opinion no1 would type soccer bet, they'd type soccer betting or soccer bets, not soccer bet

    so very few people would type in soccer bet

    So far for July i have had 65,066 unique visitors.

    Of those visitors, 48,380 (74.3%) came from Google
    MSN sent me 3,064 (4.7%) -

    and i RANK BETTER ON MSN FOR THESE KEYWORDS THAN I DO IN GOOGLE! I'm consistantly #1-3 on MSN, and usually #3-5ish on Google..

    ..nobody uses MSN..

    I never use MSN search..always use Google&Yahoo.i think there are few people using msn,so u get few visitors!

    True, nobody uses MSN. I only use it when Google and Yahoo are not giving good results.

    but that does not account to "nobody" , people just dont use msn that much. users who are not web savvy with their msn as their default homepage are mostly likely the users. :)

    I get loads of traffic from msn, more than google for some sites. maybe your stats are broken.

    Not many of my traffic comes from MSN at all. Out of the 11252 search engine hits I got last month, only 949 came from MSN. Yahoo was even worse, while google search itself was at 9391.

    You guys all might be better off focusing on ASK more than MSN. I wouldn't be suprised if ASK passes MSN in the market share race.
