Rapidshare RefererPoints

Something new everyone started noticing in their rapidshare collector accounts is one new line of text.

in my case it says
Money earned with winning new customers: 10 Euro (5 RefererPoints. Exchange-Rate: 2 Euro pro RefererPoint)

only info is that "More infos can be found here in 1-2 days" but it's there at least for the last 3 days.

This is obviously some form of Rapidshare affiliate program. My best guess is that you earn those points when someone goes to download file you uploaded to RS and then clicks and buys premium account.

At first glance I don't have any idea how you can influence to earn more referer points, except obviously uploading more files and maybe begging those who download to buy premium account along the way
in addition, rapidshare could supply us with unique referal links like rapidshare.com/ref.php?12345 so it could work like any other affiliate program.

Do you have any other ideas for increasing referer points or you maybe think they will work some other way?

 

Rapidshare should offer Money for uploading, like many others are offering, but I am sure they will not as they are already on top & aquired most of this market shared
