To this question there is only 1 answer in today's business world:

The price you should charge does not relate to the quality of your work, nor the revenues you might make.

The price you should charge is exactly the maximal amount which, to your best estimate, your client will be willing to pay :)

Send them to me. Sorry just had to say that. SEO and SEM can range from 150.00 to 150,000.00 or more, Base your pricing on what you been charging in the past. I have set prices and packages. Some companies only need a little and some need a lot of SEO work. Clients feel more secure with pricing packages the spell out what you will do and what they will receive. Also show them viable proof to build customer confidence.

The prices should reflect the amount of work that each clients website requires! Also you have to put a price on your time! Remember, SEO is not something that happens on its own, it takes a lot of man hours to get work done! So what is your time and consultation worth? Each client is different and will have a different agenda and goals that need to be accomplished so plan your pricing strategy accordingly :) Or if all fails you are more than welcome to refer your clients to me....i don't have a problem working as a transparent source! Good luck!

It depends in the country of your clients.

For Europe and or USA, Canada. I guess could START in something like this:

    - Basic SEO for small business website $150
    - Basic SEO for mediums business website $300
    - Basic SEO for big business website $600

A bigger campaing will need some investmente of the client buying links, ads, etc. You take the 15% of commision for that PLUS your $25 per hour.

Its just some idea, not the Bible on how much to ask for doing SEO.

In other countries, convert that, not from DLLS but dividing (or multiply) depends on the country.

Per example, for a client in Denmark, charge + 15%
    For a client in UK + 10%
    For a client in Poland - 20%
    For a client in India - 40%

Just to give you an idea.
