I have a quick question. For the people that are spending at least 1 hour day on link building, how well does that translate into traffic? Are you guys seeing at least 1000 visitors a day for your sites that have been around? Thanks for any replies.

i prioritize my sites on a weekly basis, then i find free time each day to work on them. I will start at the top of the list and go down the line, this way I stay fresh and I keep consistent work going into my sites. all said and done it could be an hour a day or so.

I probably spend 30 minutes a day on average. Even though I get visits from the links, I wonder how much they're worth. How many visits a month do you get from the average backlink?

If I use links:domainname.com in Google search and divide my monthly visits by that number, it works out to about four visits per backlink per month.

Well, being that it's my job, probably 8 to 9 hours per day.

It's usually fun but can become tedious for sure.

Probably used to spend around an hour a day - more if you count writing/soliciting articles in that.

I started my first real web business/site about a month ago. For me, I have done a lot of websites but I say this is my first real one as I have sunk several hundred dollars into the thing via hosting, design, ad's etc.

One thing I find odd is - you are all bragging about how many links you have...what about visitors/sales? I care more about how many visitors I get then I do how many links I have. Since my site is new (only about a month old) I spend 4-5 hours per day trying to get traffic. In the 3-4 weeks I have had my site I have had 801 visitors and 21 have actually clicked on my products.
