It's actually really easy. I do this for every niche I begin and it really works. You have to actually work at it and it's not always fun! (That's why it's called work!) Good luck, and I hope this helps some of you guys out. 1. Pick a niche. It's easiest to pick a niche that you would like to learn about, write about, and read about. If you like dogs, pick the dog training niche. If all else fails, pick the internet marketing niche! Trust me, you have to enjoy what you're doing to give it quality. 2. Start writing. The search engines are the biggest source of traffic EVER! Go ahead and spend your first couple days writing about 20 articles each with a different target keyword. 3. Put 5 of those articles on Ezine, use 6 to make a linkwheel, and put the last 9 on your landing page as subpages. (Don't forget to add them on your navigation bar when you put them on your landing page!) (After you post to Ezine, change a couple sentences and then add to GoArticles, ArticlesBase, and ArticleDashboard.) 4. Now it's time for some direct marketing. Find every major forum about your niche, all blogs with PR3+ about your niche, ect. Write comments with your links, add some useful posts to forums with your sig, and do social bookmarking. There are some dofollow bookmarking sites. 5. Last, use autopligg, link exchanges, yahoo answers, ect. 6. (optional) Email your list if you have one!
I'll definitely go deeper later. I'm planning on writing an ebook with each step magnified. I'll probably post it here on DP, but I'm not sure if it will be free or paid...
i have seen lot's of e Books and training videos. This is pretty much all there is. This is like the basic, the blueprint. Thanks for sharing this.
I've also discovered how helpful article marketing can be. My new affiliate site has only been up for a few days and I'm already getting traffic through Ezine Articles. Thanks for sharing these tips!
Ezine articles really is a good source of traffic. However, don't invest all of your articles there. Put some on your own site/blog and get some organic Google traffic directly to your site. Like the guide says, only 5 out of 20 go on EzineArticles. That just 25%. Nine of them (over 45%!!!) is on your own site. And over 30% is used for web 2.0 distribution in a linkwheel. Don't get too caught up in article marketing. It's great, but search engine traffic is greater (Plus, the new ad structure at Ezine is a conversion killer!)
