I agree with this assessment. Those people proclaiming they earn great great money within a very short period of time could just be outright lying OR they are the exception rather than the norm.

I believe there is some method about craigslist being sold on the BST section.

i last saw the thread a week ago.

it sounded promising, good reviews too. it said you can make $1500 a week, offline marketing.

something about buying specific products, then selling them for more. would only work if you live in a populated city.

You can earn money online at freelance sites. You will have to do online jobs at these sites. These jobs include: programming, copywriting, data entry etc.

You can easily make a living online via doing this work.

 

Aw man, I'm sorry to hear that. Economy is getting tough on all of us. You should take on some small data entry jobs, earn a little money then start up your own unique site selling something.

 

Start a blog with High Rating articles and get signup with advertisers like Adsense.

Well, one of the most common asked questions on any Internet Marketing Forum!

All i will say is if you are ever looking for one website or one e-book to make money...it ain't never gonna happen!

You wouldn't expect to walk into a lawyer's office or doctor's surgery and say give me a book to read and the voila, one day later you are a qualified lawyer or doctor.

Same thing applies online. The only difference being you have a wider audience to play with. It's estimated 1.5billion people (a quarter of the people living on earth) have access to the internet.

Usually if are just starting out, i would always suggest Clickbank and article writing. You have all the information you need at your fingertips.

You would usually need to create a landing page to promote your product and write at least 30 articles pointing back to your landing page. How much you make will depend on how quickly you write your articles.

Just using this method, you should get a 1 in 3 success rate. Meaning out of every 3 products you promote, you should expect one to be successful. To promote 3 products in a week, you would need to make 3 landing pages and write 90 articles.

However, just writing will not make you money. As a famous IMer once said, research, research, re-freakinsearch!

See what others are promoting, what keywords are they using. How are they writing their articles. How are they making their landing pages. Are they giving out free reports. If you want be successful, you have follow those who are successful.

A start would be to visit different forums, including here at DP and type in search terms and see what advice you come up with.

If this seems like to much hard work - then my advice is, Internet Marketing is not for you.

If you are a good content writer then i strongly suggest you to go for blog hosted on custom domain.
If you aren't a content writer then try affiliate marketing, freelancing.

 

look at data entry jobs, as making money from a website isnt as easy as you think and will take a long time.

you will need to have a website and keep working on it. Only a website can give you your dream.

 

You can make money from the internet. It is possible. But first things first, what are your skills? What type of services can you offer to potential clients? Can you write articles? Design websites?

You have to make an inventory of what you can do to begin with.

 

That's the best advice. You won't make much money online as a novice unless you are extremely lucky.

Well everybody does. I think what you need now is not to find all those money making shortcuts but start with freelancing first and then gradually turn to passive income streams.
