Hai, My blog bmakemoneytricks.blogspot.com has an alexa rank of about 1,171,541 and if i type "make money" keyword in google search my blog is not displayed in first page of search result instead i found a site that is indexed by google and appears in first page which has got an alexa rank of 1,215,187 (www.biz4try.com) 1,418,577 (www.seekluck.com) So my doubt is that i have an alexa rank greater than that of the two websites but mines is not indexed by google in search result. What to do? I am Depressed Please help Thanks
alexa is not so acurate like others alike. so there is no such proff if cheated or not, just my idea..
There is debate whether Alexa ranking really means anything worthwhile. First off - you need to have the Alexa tool bar installed to count as a visitor to your website - I do not have the tool bar, and probably never will. Google wants to see links back to your website from higher pageranked websites that are of quality - In Googles eye's - If you can get a link from an authority site - this will help. I do not even think Google considers Alexa Rank for much of anything. Original content is also a major consideration - along with other factors that take time to understand and comprehend - you can write articles and submit them to ezine articles sites and have them link back to your site for more help. This is just the beginning of what you will need to know to get your website to make page one on Google searches - and some luck helps - but this comes with hard work - always has, always will.
Well, thats not gonna help in bringing your site on the first page. I don't believe much in ALexa thing. Better keep the content of your site up to date. And do use right keywords and tags to come up in search results. - Digital -

It's not google's fault neither alexa's. They are not conected each other and have their different methods to rank a web.
Those Google Bastards (Said with Eric Cartman voice inflection)! Clearly you don't get it. Google is SOFTWARE... the chance of an actual Google Employee actually even seeing your page (Unless you are flagged for some reason or reported for a TOS violation) is almost ZERO. There are Billions of pages they index. And they don't have people doing the work, they have computers and software doing it. Alexa is pure crap as the results are easily manipulated and the data they pull is from their own crappy toolbar. And this is going to seem harsh but why would anyone take advice from someone about how to make money online if they don't even own their own properties? You sig links say it all.
Traffic Rank is far different from Search Engine Ranking. There are several sites with under 100k ranking on alexa but they are not ranking well on SERPS .. ? Their traffic resources are different ... PPC, Organic SEO, Email marketing, direct hits and traffic exachanges and many other resources combinely affect traffic rank whereas you are only concerned with ranking which is purely related to Organic SEO
As all of the above member said, there is no major relation between alexa rankings and google search results, and yes what matters a lot is the keyword written in search query. You wont believe but i just launched a site and withing 2 days my site was on 1st page 3rd position with a specific keywords. You can give it a try, type my username in google search. you will find the site at top most position. Its under experimental status ) Sometimes i see traffic coming from particular keyword in which my site gets top most place then other high ranking sites. It all depends on Keyword or search query written in google search. Well thats my opinion.
Alexa ranking is about traffic, whereas google's ranking is about SERP. You can't take one of it as measurement to the other one.
Im going to give you some valuable advice and that is to abandon that "niche". Dont waste your time trying to catch the competition go for a far less competative niche.
