Many people I talk to are convinced that AdSense optimization is not necessary. Many people suggest that working on the traffic is the only way of increasing your AdSene earnings. AdSense depends on 3 factors: Traffic - mainly achieved through SEO, social media. CTR - Click Through Rate CPC - Cost Per Click Increasing each of the factors increases your factors equally. An example: Traffic: 10.000 CTR: 1% CPC: 1$ Increasing your CTR to 2% would also increase your earnings by 100%. Increasing your CPC to 1.2$ would increase your earnings by another 20%. What are you waiting for? There are tons of great resources you can check out. A particular good one covering tons of aspects is the Complete AdSense guide written by AdSense experts Mark H. and Hendrik K. The AdSense Heatmap published by Google is something you should check out as well. It shows where you have to place your AdSense units in order to put them right into the visitor's attention.
My experience has shown me that this is not the case. There is not a 1:1 increase in earnings...ie, the factors do NOT scale linearly. A doubling of CTR does not always guarantee a doubling of earnings. I have a few years of data that, when graphed, show the relationships to be rather tricky lol You are correct that increasing any of those factors _should_ increase your earnings in most cases, but it' doesn't appear to be as simple as a linear relationship.
CPC is something that we cannot really predict. It purely depends on the keywords used in the content. I still don't understand from google extracts the keywords to generate its ads.
this is not exactly what it is..as adsense may calculate in there own formula. so sometimes we got low earnings. there is no exact formula on this. only adsense knows.
