[HELP] Cannot Log In to DP Forum !

Dear DP admins,

Can you please tell me why this could happen to me?

I have trouble logging in for about months now. When I attempt to login it
brings me to that "Thank you for logging in ...." (something like that)
redirecting page. But after a few moments it'll kick me back again to
the main page without logging me in.

It's persistent no matter what I do. My password works just fine I'm sure of
that. I was definitely not banned or anything like that. I don't know why is
this happening to me.

It can't be the cookies cuz I've set to accept them.
Can't be anti-spyware or firewall or any program of that kind cuz I also tried
disabling them while logging in. I tried switching browsers and I also tried
switching ISP to no avail. I also tried switching computers! Goodness.

This happens about 99% of the time, but surprisingly I can get through
sometimes (1%) like now.

This is really bothering me since I want to be actively engaged in the forum.

I have the feeling that it might just happen again after I log out this time. Wish me luck!

I would really really appreciate any help or advice.

The short answer is that this forum has been virtually abandoned by its owner, Shawn Hogan, and the staff who are trying to maintain it don't have sufficient access to the back end to do anything about the situation.

Look at the copyright notice, as just one example:

The current version of vBulletin is 3.82 with version 4 in development. No forum should be running anything less than 3.7x because of the security vulnerabilities fixed in later versions.

So, Shawn... where the hell are you? If you have lost interest in the forum, fair enough, but at least give your remaining staff sufficient access to what they need to maintain the place.

 

It happens sometimes to me too...If you select remember me check box..I cud login successfully..try it..It may help you...
