[2009] List of 650+ Free Classifieds (Updated List, Many High PRs)

    I run a free classifieds website http://www.jihoy.com, while I was researching about my competitors, I compiled a list of classified ads site, many which have some pretty high PR on their main page. I am posting the list on my site, since there isn't enough space here on DP (25000 characters posting limit):

    The list is still under construction, a few of them have gone under, so I need to update the alexa rank and PR for each, this page is constantly being updated, so please check back often.

    650 is too small.I know few sites which are providing list of more than 6000 free classified sites.

    ramprop11, I believe you are referring to the classifieds club, which is $29.99 yearly memebership, and I am a member of that, thought I had a good deal with their advertising 7000+ free classifieds sites. I can tell you, 90%+ of the sites from their list are not free, nor classifieds. Either that, or they count multiple times for a large classified ads site, with each city counting as a different site. I can get a better list by just running a search engine scraper for keywords like "free classifieds", they don't even check if the sites are actually classifieds, or just a page containing the word "classifieds" 3 years ago. If you can actually post to their list, kudos to you. Seems like it's just outdated spam tools and FFA link pages for what they are offering.

    It's great, thanks. But if you have the time another way to make it even more relevant would be to list the nationality of the directories? i.e. US / UK etc. I realise you might have more fish to fry...

    wow, nice list...I had been compiling a list of free auction, marketplace, and classifieds sites for the last few years on powersellerunite but wow....yours is huge. mine is below(note: for many of these, you have to be selling a tangible item, ie not digital files, etc)

    Whats the best classified ad submitter these days?

    I have a great affiliate ad i post in backpage and craigslist that gives me some decent monthly cash. But, Im stuck to 1 ad/city only as per rules.

    I would like to know if there is an auto submitter so I can place the add in all of the sites on the above list in one shot, rather than do it manually for days on end.

    Ive been looking around but there is too much crap to sort through. I'd appreciate an honest opinion much better.

    simple & unique design, unique concept, unique rights for posters/seekers,
    It's seen as the easiest way to post or search for local classified ads
