    Hey Everybody,

Currently I'm working for a company that sells home travel business packages and we've got an outside team working on video trailers which we've put on YouTube.

Originally I hoped they'd make videos that could spread virally, explain and promote our product and drive traffic to our website.

What we ended up with are these:

    Personal Travel Group Trailer 1
    Personal Travel Group Trailer 2

As you can see, they're very nicely produced, well scripted and everything but beyond just being 'nice', they aren't much to write home about.

I was hoping I could launch a successful viral video campaign but I really can't see how to promote these videos - I mean, they're hardly going to spread virally as they lack all the things that a successful viral video has (humour, being topical etc...)

So basically I'd like to know if anyone here would know the best thing to be done with these videos, how best to get people to view them, link to them and spread them around.

    Thanks in advance!

In trailer 1 - Cut out everything between :05 - :12 seconds. Go straight from the logo to the music and skip the airplane wing and the words anbout mankind traveling.

My first thoughts are - "how simple is it?" Can anyone do this? Maybe mention something about how the company helps people get started. Because I missed the point of the video. I'am going to "guess" that your compnay somehow gets people started in their own travel agency?

Trailer 2 - I liked it much better. There was more booty shaking in the video then the first one. And keep in mind that sex sales.

Both videos are very nice and I liked the music.

In the video description - move the link to your site to the first line of the description. Add your site address somewhere to the videos.

Thanks for the feedback, and I agree with all of your points.

Yes we offer travel agency franchises. Good guess. This is apparently going to become clearer in the coming videos (there are to be 10 in all)

How would you get people to watch these though? Any ideas? I just don't think they're exciting enough...
