Best Way to Get Indexed in Google

What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

I have been using social bookmarking with good success, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing.

 

I usualy submit on digg to get fast indexed in google.

You don't really need to add your site directly to google. As long as your posting links on popular sites (which it looks as though you are) google will pick you up, usually within a few days.

 

True, but what's the harm in doing so anyway? It's not like it takes that much time.

It does take a bit of time when launching a new website but it's necessary. I disagree, that is a very slow way to get indexed. it is much quicker to post a link on a website that is heavily spidered, like craigslist.com or one of those sort of websites. Google will find you very quickly that way.

 

Well I've never found it be slow, it's always worked quickly for me.

I'd also add an xml sitemap and submit it to your account in google webmaster tools to cover every base

 

Just put it into your forum signature and ask how to get it indexed. Or you could say something like, "I have a new Social Business Networking website, how do I get it indexed?

 

That is a very good point, why havent you put it in your signature?
Perhaps it is not a website that you want to advertise on DP?

Guys I have success with submitting links to high PR blogs. When those blogs are get cached, my links too get cached and got some good postion in Google too.....Always use that way...

 

Build more backlinks from high PR sites, blogs, forums(like DP), social networks, directories...

 

Whenever I want a new site or blog to get indexed for a week, submitting to social bookmarking sites really works for me. But try to mix it up like doing some forum postings, directory submissions, etc.

if you are looking for free pr just submit your site to a couple hundred directories. make sure in google you use a broad keyword. Check google adwords for info.
