This is a very new site, but I would be very interested to know how well written my content is, and how good the design is. Thank you. Also, do you like the name? The Complete Web Guide
Maybe design a new header dude as the simple text looks boring and the text in the articles al looks crammed and then spaced out, it's all over the place. For example see 'choosing the right domain' section.
Hello... You are using an un-modified template, a nice one, so it should be fairly easy to fix the design problems to make your site look nicer... 1. In the header - the links are touching the Site Name, they should be justified to the right of the header, and the grey "from the blog" text is unreadable 2. The only link you have in the main menu is "home" - if that's all you are going to put there, you would be better off removing the horizontal menu and just having the left menu... but don't keep both and make them identical either... 3. The "Latest Articles" and "Check off You're Web Requirements" should be moved to the left / right columns, you don't have enough content to justify using those positions. 4. The graphic in the "Check off You're Web Requirements" is improperly floated and sinks to the bottom which looks bad. There is also no link to anything in that box - what the ?!?!?! is the box there for? 5. In your site map, remove the name of the menu (it's an option in the component you are using) - Having the title "Main Menu" in your site map looks wierd... 6. Remove: "Written by Administrator / Saturday, 30 May 2009 00:20" from the top of your articles and "Last Updated on Sunday, 31 May 2009 20:09" This isn't a blog and it will make your site look outdated if you neglect it for a week. 7. There are several errors in the writing ("Check off You're Web Requirements" should be "Check Off Your Web Requirements", or better yet "Web Requirements Checklist") - the whole thing needs to be proofread. 8. You need a little more graphic "punch" - maybe add some explanatory or even decorative (but relevant) graphics to each article... maybe screenshots? The idea isn't bad, and of course you need to add a ton of content (but you knew that) but it's a beginning!
same as what the other people say: -new logo -more items in your horizontal menu or remove it. -more images because people get bored of txt fast. -your domain will prob rank well in serps but its hard to remember because its long. see if you can get a short .com
