Do you prefer direct linking vs. landing page for PPC?

    Hello

I'm starting to get into more PPC marketing, and was curious if there is a preference to direct linking to a merchant, is it more preferred to link to a landing page?

Seems like merchants are moving away from direct linking, but was curious if conversions are better over landing pages?

    Thanks!

I prefer you to have landing pages because in selling an affiliate product using PPC it is very great for it and it is very suitable in setting up PPC campaign.

It depends on your products and your vendors' landing pages.

If you dont think your vendors' landing pages help sales, you can make one yourself.

Direct-linking is a short term strategy. You have to outbid other direct linkers since only one advertiser gets to show up in the results for a given display url for a keyword.

Although they require more work, landing pages are often better. You can get higher quality scores on Google, which drives down your CPC. Plus you can pre-sell whatever you are selling and that often improves your conversion rates.

Use landing page to make effective pre-sell. That will improve your ROI.

landing pages because they can explain the product better sometimes than just a homepage

I would use landing page, because it allows you to collect their email addresses, which gives you long term marketability.

    Landing pages are much Better
    You can Presell the Product
    You can Build a list
Offer something FREE that is related to the Product so if they don't buy it right then you can make them other related offers later on
