Google has always been brilliant because of its simplicity. They were smart enough to resist the temptation to do what Yahoo and MSN did, which was to fill up their home page with alot of nonsense that doesn't help with search at all! Even though Google is a maddening company, their search engine is going to be around a long time; Google is a verb now, on the same level as Kleenex for tissues. Pretty incredible!
