yes, non of my new sites got pr but my twitter got 6 wow

 

I don't care about PR but serps are all that counts ...

 

I found the inner pages PR changed and also one website went from 0 to 4..sth going on...

I remember last update was on April , so this update happened after only 2 months?

 

yup a new forum of mine has gone from a 0 to a 2 today, still I cant get my blog to move up from 0 for some reason.

 

One from 0-3
One from 0-1
One from 0-0 (only two wks old tho)

Very early this, didn't expect it today.

 

My blog finally got up to PR4. It's about damn time.

 

Hells ya, I got some nice PR updates

 

It was a good morning this morning when i realised i had 7 sites that had jumped from PR 0 to PR 2 or 3 YEAH!!!!

 

Some changes here too, for the best

 

Me too. But I'm glad I got so much PR this update too

Google abruptly dropped my site PR from 4 to 0 overnight. All the backlinks are gone too. Can anyone tell me what could be the issue?. I had backlinks from high PR sites.

My site: www.topforeignstocks.com

Traffic to my site also plunged by over 3/4th.

You show as a "2" on my toolbar. Is the site new?

 

I open your site via IE - my antivirus program says you have Redir-Me trojan horse

in Chrome it says "The website at topforeignstocks.com contains elements from the site 85.10.221.162, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer."

 

Checkpagerank is showing 2 & 3 together so it may not have quite adjusted yet as still in progress. Wait a few days. And Google doesn't always show all backlinks either that doesn't mean they are gone. Since Google does change its algorithm, that can also affect the pr, as well as if some of your backlinks may also have had an adjustment or been penalised. Search engine rankings for traffic purposes may be a different issue because in competitive areas others can move up and you can down and again it may be a temporary fluctuation.

Hi there, so my site was put up 21 days ago. I go to visit it today and find it has a page rank, of 0.

First thing I want to ask is why did it happen so fast? I've had a site that didn't get page ranked until about 2-3 months in, and by that time it was PR4. Now, my site (http://e-protectors.com) just got page ranked at 0, even though I've done more directory submissions, have better keywords, use entrecard, more backlinks, 100+ social bookmarking sites, and seems as if I've been getting more visitors.


Could it possibly be because my server is in China?

What could have caused me to get such bad page rank in just 21 days?

Yes.You are correct.Sorry that was a typo. I should have said it was showing PR2. The site is not new.Has been online for more than 1.5 years now.

Thanks for the information.I am not sure how my site has that Redir-Me trojan horse and malware.Let me check with my ISP and see if they can help to get rid of this.

Thanks for the note.Seems like google is working on my backlinks.When I checked it now all my backlinks reappeared. I am gonna wait a few days and see if the traffic comes back.

It has nothing to do with your sever or keywords. Give it until the next update - and meanwhile, read through the thousands of other posts asking the same type of questions.
