{WTS} My php beta CMS system

I bought this script/domain name about 2months ago, I turned the script into a completely new version adding basic stuff like smarty caching, a wusiwyg editor and a few other items like ad management and thirdparty script placement.

The script has received over 200 downloads, and 8dollars in adsense within the last month, give or take a few days.

Its an ideal start for a php hobbyist, to develop it into something big or not, myself I did very little to promote it, getting it listed on hotscripts was probable the only thing I did.

Is it coded in PHP 4 or 5? I see it's still a work in progress, but any know major issues with the script ie security flaws etc. Is there any help documents as the comments in the coding is a sparse.

 

Its standard stuff, php 4 or 5, mysql 4 or higher.

Yes its a work in progress, but 100% fully functional no script bugs. It has no direction as a website, but to produce valid html documents. For this particular project it uses edited templates from http://www.freecsstemplates.org/ which over 300 exist.

I added a forum, to which I guess people would take part in if and when they needed help. But as you can see to date only one guy had an issue using a localhost server.

Anyone interested, should download the script and study how it works, by installing it and examining the files. Their is always room for improvement.

I found the original auction of this site on here and I the original seller says it's all php 5. So that fully answers one of my questions.

Second, besides the barren forms on the phpbeta website, is there any other documentation or help files that go along with the code?

Third, in the original auction post, he talked about a two do list of things that still need to be added/fixed. That webpage where he directed it listed on the phpbeta website is no longer there. Was everything completed on that list or were there some other ideas that are still waiting or are possibilities to the cms?

I'm still looking through the code on the cms.... would like to consider putting in a bid, but also don't want to be rushed going through the code. That's life i guess.

There is probable only 5% left of the original script, the rest is all new. If you contact the original author he may or not have a copy of it version 0.50 ( I scrapped it ), I think he will also agree that I have completely turned it around for the better.

You would need to build your own documentation and or activate the wusiwyg editor help.

On a side note, the barren forum, if I don't make a sale, I will most likely scrap it and open an sourceforge project for support.
