Well what you read about Google Bombing is quite true but now you can't use it for your benefit. Google has changed its algorithms to avoid such kind of anomalies.
Google Bombing is just a term that refers to building lots of backlinks with optimized anchor text to a site. It is usually not done by the site owner, but by some third party.
bombing/bowling/hacking/blackhat , all this stuff is nonsense - it's not a long term solution and will be or is shut down by google... think long term, think quality content
it works just as any link building with specific anchor texts works. The only different thing is that you're doing it to someone for fun/to make a statement...
I can assure you that it works even now. What you need is a lot of users with blogs/sites willing to link to some site.
This is actually true. I know this because I have tested it. And you can too. Test it on long term keyword phrases that have no commercial value and you'll see your rankings at the top. If it didn't work they would not rank. To make it work competitively is much harder. Algorithm or not, it's just software.
It still works, I have done it plenty of times. It doesn't work quite on the scale of "miserable failure" anymore, but it does work for long tails, etc.
nowadays google bombing is easily notice by google because the links created are obvious not builds in a natural way and for me its not advisable to do it especially if your website is new, and you think it really helps your site! that's just what your think if fact it can give a negative effect to your rankings and once google notice it those links are become useless.
So if we have very old site and we want to up in the rankings then can we do Google bombing in our site? or This effect negatively on our site?
