Any update on this Chris? I have sent a couple of PM's, but both were ignored. I had paid a programmer $500 to modify a wordpress script and he was working on it when the server went down. Now he's refusing to do the work again - which is fair enough. That's a bit of change that I have at stake! The server IP is: 69.162.125.211

Hoping it's up again soon with the db restored!

What problems? So am I going to be able to retrieve my backup files or not? Please don't hold things up if you're not able to get the backup. I trust that many people will be more than wary of your services.

It's certainly not the first time it has happened. Previous downtimes, I had to contact you via MSN to get a reply. Emailing didn't work even though I was contacting you through the same address as your hotmail account. And you tell me that I was the only person left out of your contact list to notify of the server change and new IP and you have no idea why. Looks like I wasn't the only one.

 

Wrong, I was ON his contact list and i had to keep chasing him up to find out what was going on, He didn't make much effort to contact me himself.

And he must be backing it up i'd of thought, If he couldnt, he would just have bought a new Dedi and got it up and running within days.

 

This is now getting RIDICULOUS.

the least you can do is come onto this thread once a day and give us an update..

 

I hope i get my back up back, site can get traffic again but data is the real stuff

He seems to come online everyday, but doesn't respond to this thread, is he trying to ignore this thread? Chris, cant you just say if we can get our backup or not?

 

Found NS record: ns1.ftndns.info[216.245.201.114], was resolved to IP address by B0.INFO.AFILIAS-NST.ORG

B0.INFO.AFILIAS-NST.ORG <- thats new since a couple of days

Hey Guys,

It has been a Really bad/Busy couple weeks for me I was busy with my HighSchool Graduation about the only good thing that happend in the last couple weeks.

I promised you a week or so ago that I would send you all a email when I got my site backup on a new dedicated server, I got the server all setup and my site transferred and I realized that I have no idea what I set for my password at my Domain register so I ended up Faxing them a copy of my Driver's License, and are awaiting a new password which should arrive later today, and I will get the domain pointing to a new server.

I am sorry for all the problems this issue has caused.

And are trying to get everything resolved asap.

And do PM me the new server IPs so i can change my custom nameservers...

how about the remote desktop? I cannot seem to connect to it now and you are not on MSN

 

I guess the remote desktop was also down? I had one on his server too and it stopped working 3 days before my expire date...

 

I'll be expecting your email today, then, if you are getting everything fixed soon. I think that you should already be sending group emails to your customers to explain the server problems instead of only answering to those on DP.
