Sorry to make a thread like this but I don't know what to do anymore.

I ordered several articles from guitarpro about 2 weeks ago and he has PM'ed me a couple of times, the last I heard from him was about 5 days ago when He said he has 30 article done for me and asked for my email address.

But nothing was sent to me, I have PM'ed him 2-3 times since then and Ive SEEN him on the forum and ive emailed him 1 time infact....HIS on here right now!!.. yet no response.

I dont think his a scammer as he has a lot of good feedback, but this is getting on my nerves all this waiting with no communication from his side.

and every time he finally relplies..no "hello or sorry to keep you waiting" its really weird.

    PLEASE PM ME guitarpro

if you dont want to do my articles anymore..just tell me

Have you paid for any of them? Has he been on DP, active?

Could be that something is going on and he hasn't been to be online. If you need the articles urgently then find a new writer if you haven't paid anything.

    Dman now his gone offline...

No I havent paid anything but thats beside the point. He said his already written them and that was like 5 days or so ago and I've seen him nearly online every day since then with no replies.

I would find another writer but his price is really cheap...and his already started it "according to him"

I don't think it's beside the point. If he can't get the job done in a satisfactory time frame with the promised results, it's good business to find someone who can/will.

You said his price was cheap. Perhaps you're getting what you (haven't) paid for?

Good luck in reaching him. Hope it works out.

This is what happens when you go for cheap services, I am sorry to say. There is a reason you should pay decent prices, people! It will ensure reliability, professionalism, and dedication. After all, when you are only going to be paid a fraction of a cent per word, you don't have much to lose when another client comes along, or you just don't feel like doing it.

I am having a little trouble feeling sorry for you, OP. You shouldn't have been so cheap. We have plenty of writers here who have integrity, and all we ask for is a decent pay rate so that we can live as well. Considering our article will bring you several times more what you pay us, I don't think it is too much to ask.

Why bother replying to this thread if your just hereto sell your article service.

I ordered a big lot 150 articles, and the writer I chose had a very popular thread several pages long and lots of good trader feedback, so I made no mistake when I first contacted him thankyou very much!

Well the problem is apparently he isn't to interested in doing the job for you or can't complete it for one reason or another. If this project was important to you and the requirements have not been filled do you plan on waiting weeks more just because the price is low?

Anyways hope you get what I am saying.

Yes I do get what your saying and you make a good point.

I just wish he could tell me I cant do it anymore or whatever instead of ignoring me.

Even if he does write back..I dont think I can trust him...with my money.

    Hi Ernster,

It 'might' be possible that the guy is in real trouble and can't get back to you. Why don't you try to move on. There are plenty of other writers out here. I understand that you might be feeling cheated, but he has not taken any money from you...so it is better to move on.

    Cheers,
    Neogen

First up, it's pretty understood that you are unlikely to receive your articles nor any reply from him. Committed writers do report, if they happen to miss deadlines. Basically, there is no point waiting any further. If you happen to offer a relatively low price, most writers lack motivation to get started. In some cases, lack of motivation often results in low quality content and no timely responses. Unfortunately, you happened to be one of the victims in this case.

Still, Good luck if you happen to find him.

Things happen. My advice to people who need large amounts of articles would be to hire several people instead of one person. This will ensure the best quality since it can be hard writing multiple articles on the same subject. Most people will only sub-contract the work out anyway.

The only thing I can think of is that Guitarpro has just taken extra work and is trying to cope with it. It happens with writers at time. It's probably a genuine overload and he has all intentions of finishing them but isn't managing. I know the hurricane news is true as many people I know are dealing with it but that problem was not rampant last week, and people were able to get online on and off.

I think the writer enjoys a decent reputation and just requires to wrap it up but you would have to wait a while longer because now Calcutta is seriously reeling in darkness for a bit.

Since it's a big order, patience is required even if the writer has failed in delivery time. Sometimes we get too much to handle, nad time management becomes difficult.

Good news I have recieved some of the articles and they are very good:)

In future guitarpro, just communicate better thats what customer want, they usually dont mind if there is a delay, as long as they KNOW what is going on.

I will say it again - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If and when you get scammed, it serves you guys right for seeking out writers who nearly work for free.
